If you haven't yet applied for your Driving Test, you may do so either online at the Department of Transport website http://rsa.ie or by post. Application forms are available at your local Motor Tax office or Garda Station. You can also check the current waiting times for test centres nationwide at the transport site.

We have prepared a short checklist for you to consult before your Test Date
Documentation required - Driving Licence, Motor Tax, Insurance & NCT (if applicable) must all be valid and in date.
Vehicle Checks - The vehicle used for the test must be road worthy and an Irish registered vehicle. The Examiner will perform a bulb check on the indicators and brake lights. Your test will be cancelled if a fault is detected.
